“Buying or selling a home is exciting, but also stressful. Mary works very hard to minimize the stress for her clients and to help them achieve their goals--whether that goal is to find the perfect home for their family, to sell their current home for a good asking price, or whatever. We have worked with Mary three times over the past 15 years, twice in buying homes and once in selling a home. Mary has always been very professional, helpful, and personable. When we were in the process of relocating to the Kansas City area in 2000, Mary even found a babysitter for our two young children so we could focus on finding a wonderful home to raise them in. In 2012 we moved to New Mexico for job-related reasons. In getting our Overland Park home ready to sell, Mary was able to recommend affordable, reliable contractors to paint, replace carpeting, and do various other small jobs. These improvements along with Mary's solid advice on pricing and her great marketing of our home, led to two good offers within one week of putting the house on the market. Recently we had the opportunity to move back to the KC area and once again contacted Mary to help us find the perfect empty nester home in or near Liberty. We were not the easiest clients to work with, changing our minds mid-way through house hunting about our priorities. But Mary was patient with us and adapted the search in helping us find a home we would ultimately be comfortable with. We also have had the opportunity to work with her terrific associate (and husband) Don. As a former home remodeler and home inspector, he was able to share his expertise in helping to determine the soundness of homes we were considering buying and eventually in making a list of requested repairs for the seller.
