Mary & Don have been married for over 30 years, have lived in Old Leawood for the same length of time, have reared five children together, and are actively involved in their neighborhood. They are committed to preserving the character, value, and beauty found in the historic neighborhood they love.
Mary received her real estate license in 1989 and has been with Keller Williams Realty, Key Partners, LLC since 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Education from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and graduate coursework from UMKC MBA program. She is a certified DRS Agent (you may read more about this below), and has been a member of the LDS Referral Network for many years, assisting LDS families with their moves. Mary currently serves on the board of the Leawood Homes Association.
Don spent 30+ years in residential remodeling and five years as a home inspector before obtaining his real estate license in 2009 and joining the team, and with his background, Don brings an invaluable level of expertise and knowledge to their clients. Don holds a Business Degree from the University of Kansas. He has served on the Leawood Home Association Board and the Architectural Review Committee.
Mary Payne & Team are active in the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS and the Heartland Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Both Mary and Don are licensed in Kansas and Missouri.
